PEPP2 (RHOXF2) is a homeodomain protein which contains one homeobox DNA-binding domain. PEPP2 (RHOXF2) was found to mediate transcriptional repression of the mouse Netrin-1 Receptor Gene Unc5c, a pro-apoptotic receptor with tumor suppressor activity (Hu et al., 2008 PMID: 18077458).
