Protein function and interaction
Regulator of G-protein signaling (RGS) proteins are known to function at the heterotrimeric G protein pathway. RGS22 is a testis-specific RGS and may be involved in spermatogenesis. RGS22 interacts with GNA12, GNA13, and GNA11 and may play a role in GNA13 translocation into the nucleus during spermiogenesis (Hu et al., 2008 (PMID: 18703424).
