Protein function and interaction
Tsga10 perinuclear localisation and its expression pattern suggests that it may be involved in active cell division, differentiation, and migrating cells, hypothesizing the presence of Tsga10 protein wherever there is a conserved ciliary structure (Behnam et al., 2006 PMID: 16643851).
A protein-protein interaction between the hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF-1) and TSGA10 was identified by yeast two-hybrid screening in mouse spermatozoa (Hägele et al, 2006 PMID: 16777103).
