Protein function and interaction
MAGE-C2 binds to TRIM28 (a member of the TRIM family E3 RING ubiquitin ligases) and enhances TRIM28 ubiquitin ligase activity, promoting the activity of TRIM28 in p53 degradation in cells (Doyle et al, 2010 PMID: 20864041).
