Protein function and interaction
MAGE family proteins may enhance ubiquitin ligase activity through recruitment and/or stabilization of the E2 ubiquitin conjugating enzymes at the E3-substrate complex (Doyle et al, 2010 PMID: 20864041).
The MHD (MAGE homology domain) of MAGE-C1 interacts with NY-ESO-1 (Cho et al, 2006 PMID: 17137291).
